I'm running for the West Virginia Senate because it's time to focus on the basics fixing our roads and bridges, creating opportunities that keep our kids here at home, preparing the next generation for success, and making government accountable to the people it serves.
As a businessman, I've learned that accountability matters. Problems don't fix themselves, and excuses don't get results.
That's the approach I'll bring to Charleston.

KEEP WEST VIRGINIANS IN WEST VIRGINIA
For too long, we've watched our kids graduate, pack their bags, and build their lives somewhere else.
That shouldn't be the expectation.
West Virginia has everything it needs to compete hardworking people, incredible natural resources, strong communities, and businesses ready to grow. What we need is leadership focused on creating opportunity.
I'll fight for policies that help small businesses succeed, encourage investment, expand workforce training, and create the kind of jobs that allow our children to build their future right here at home.
Growing our economy isn't just about attracting new businesses. It's about giving people a reason to stay.
BUILD THE INFRASTRUCTURE WEST VIRGINIA DESERVES
Good roads.
Safe bridges.
Reliable and affordable utilities.
Protection from flooding.
These aren't luxuries. They're the basics people should be able to count on.
Too many families deal with roads that need repair, neighborhoods that flood after every heavy rain, and utility bills that continue to climb. We've talked about these problems for years. It's time to start fixing them.
I'll fight for investments in roads and bridges, stronger flood mitigation, and reliable, affordable energy that keeps West Virginia moving forward.
Those aren't political issues. They're quality-of-life issues.
PREPARE OUR KIDS FOR SUCCESS
Every child deserves a great education.
Every teacher deserves respect.
And every parent deserves confidence that their child is being prepared for the future.
That means supporting our teachers, maintaining high academic standards, and expanding career and technical education so students have opportunities whether they choose college, the skilled trades, military service, or the workforce.
Our schools should prepare students for life not just graduation.
Education shouldn't be about politics. It should be about preparing the next generation to succeed.
CHARLESTON WORKING FOR WEST VIRGINIA
People are tired of feeling like the system works better for insiders than it does for everyone else.
If you're elected to serve the people of West Virginia, your job should be just that serve the people.
That means protecting taxpayer dollars, demanding accountability, and strengthening ethics laws so elected officials always put the public first.
West Virginia already has a one-year waiting period before former lawmakers can become lobbyists. That's a good start, but it doesn't go far enough.
I'll work to extend the cooling-off period so public office isn't treated as a steppingstone to a lobbying career.
Government doesn't exist to serve itself. It exists to serve the people of West Virginia.

Chris Miller isn't a career politician. He's a businessman who believes government should solve problems, not create them.
Chris got his first job delivering newspapers when he was ten years old. By fifteen, he was working on a bison farm. Later, he started in the family car business by washing cars before eventually leading and expanding the business.
Business teaches you a few simple lessons. If you don't solve problems, customers leave. If you waste money, you won't stay in business very long.
Chris believes government should be held to those same standards.
Like many West Virginians, Chris has faced personal challenges. After battling addiction, he has been sober since 2004. That experience strengthened his faith, reinforced the importance of family, and taught him the value of second chances.
Today, Chris lives in his hometown of Huntington with his wife, Cassie, their three children, and two puppies. Raising a family in West Virginia gives him a personal stake in the future of the state and the community he calls home.
He sees too many young people leaving West Virginia to build their futures somewhere else.
He sees roads and bridges that have been neglected for too long.
He sees neighborhoods that continue to flood after every heavy rain.
He sees families struggling with rising costs while government keeps asking for more.
And he sees a government in Charleston that too often forgets who it works for.
That's why Chris is running.
Not to become another politician.
To put West Virginia first every day by building the infrastructure West Virginia deserves, keeping West Virginians in West Virginia, preparing our kids for success, and cleaning up Charleston.
